DiDi这周除了上课/期末考试，就是打比赛。刚刚结束自己高中网球队的赛季，周末在大，大，大，超大的房子里，举行了男孩子们的大派对。今年DiDi刚上高中第一年，有幸打进网球队，虽然个人的排名在最后（和高四的打四年的男孩差了四岁），但双打排名还算能过的去。因此代表队里打了四场，三赢一败。网球队的今年的成绩：全州（All State）第三名，地区（Regional – 十四所高中的Varsity）冠军。教练看来还比较看好这个队里唯一的小左手，把这个奖学金给了DiDi， 同时在派对结束时反复叮嘱DiDi暑假里不要放弃练球。DiDi这个周末要去纽约大学进行为期三周的夏令营, 学一门计算机的课程。这是他第三次离开我们（第一次八个月送回北京，两岁回来的就是开朗惹人爱的不会说话的淘气小子；第二次是学校的自然课，五年级，住外州四天，回来以后就告诉我：我再也不出去住了，洗澡的时候只有五分钟的时间），哈哈，这第三次，可是三周的时间，吃住上课，去洗衣房洗衣服。。。都要自己了。还有啊，晚上我会想他了 – 每天晚上临睡前，去看看熟睡的CiCi和DiDi都成了我睡前的催眠曲了！
DiDi， 你在长大，15岁，所有的困难都应该你能面对了！祝你愉快，健康，把Fundamental of Computer Science一课学好了！
DiDi得到的网球奖学金的情况如下，他网球队的教练推荐了他：
Announcing the 26th annual *** Tennis Club Deserving High School Player Scholarship Program
Dear Varsity High School Coach,
Once again **** Tennis Club will be offering a scholarship program for a few lucky high school tennis players. The purpose of the program is to give a boost to area junior players who may not otherwise be able to participate in an indoor tennis instructional program. You, the tennis coach, are asked to nominate one boy/girl player who, in your opinion, meets these standards:
– The student must be of good character, well mannered, have good grades and must be enthusiastic about tennis.
– The student must be an incoming freshman, sophomore or junior (no seniors please).
– The student must be serious about improving his/her tennis game and have the time to commit to a 7 week instructional program.
– If possible, we request that you choose a student who may not otherwise have an opportunity to play indoor tennis during the winter months.
How the scholarship program works:
– The chosen student will receive a junior membership for the 2011-2012 season at *** Tennis Club beginning in September 2011 at no cost.
– The chosen student will receive one 7 week instructional program at no cost. Beginning in September, we offer weekly instructional clinics about every 7 weeks throughout the winter months. The chosen student may select one session that best fits his/her schedule and playing ability. If the recipient has concerns regarding placement they should call and speak with the Program Director, ***.***
Please select your nominee, fill out the enclosed form and return by June 30th. The nominee will be sent a packet of information in early August. I hope you agree that the *** Tennis Club Deserving Player Scholarship Program is a great gift for some great kids.
